The Naming by Alison Croggon

My cousin suggested The Naming to me, and it's REALLY GOOD. I'm only halfway through it, but I would suggest reading it! It also has two sequels The Riddle and The Crow.

It's so good! I love Maerad's horse!!!!!!

And when Maerad had her first period, I thought that was HILARIOUS. It cracked me up how he was like, "I think I should get Sylvia" and she thought she was dying, and I don't know why, but I found that really funny.
